Our Mega Definition Strong Hold Gel is the perfect solution for maximum curl definition and long-lasting hold. With a natural gelling agent derived from Irish moss, it provides a strong hold, while valuable ingredients such as raspberry and strawberry extracts, amino acids and panthenol deeply nourish the hair.

Thanks to its powerful formula, it creates an intense gel layer while drying, giving your curls maximum definition. Once you break the gel layer, you will be left with beautifully defined, frizz-free curls, full of natural softness and bounce.

Enriched with valuable extracts of raspberries, strawberries and linseed, together with a nourishing complex of amino acids, sodium PCA and panthenol, this gel provides intense hydration and supports the care of weakened hair. The light, fruity-fresh strawberry scent makes styling a real pleasure.

Usage

The curl gel is applied directly after the leave-in conditioner to create definition and keep your hair in shape all day long. Step 1: First, make sure your hair is still nice and wet. If it starts to dry out, re-wet it with a plant sprayer. Optional Step 2: If your hair needs extra hold, we recommend layering two gels. At Curl Bites, we call this the 2-Step Hold System, which provides maximum definition and hold. Start by applying the Volume & Hold Scrunching Gel for medium hold and great volume. Step 3: Apply Mega Definition Strong Hold Gel for strong hold and extra definition. Rub the product between your palms and distribute through your wet hair. Then gently but firmly scrunch your hair upwards to give your curls definition and bounce. Make sure you have used enough product. Step 4: Blow-dry your hair with a blow dryer on medium speed and heat. Turn your head in different directions while drying to increase volume. Step 5: Once your hair is completely dry, scrunch it again to break up the gel layer, leaving your hair super soft and smooth. ➡️ What is a gel coat? The setting ingredients leave a sheer layer on dry hair, known in the curl world as a gel coat. This is a hard layer around each hair strand, making the hair feel frozen or appear "wet". This is a great sign of strong hold and definition! Simply squeeze out the gel coat to reveal the defined, soft, bouncy curls and waves you desire.
