CG-producten / Consumedix B.V. cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need for (improving) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We will never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided through it by CG-producten / Consumedix B.V. The effective date for the validity of these terms is 21/06/2019; with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what data about you is collected by us, what this data is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us. If you have any questions about our privacy policy, please contact our privacy contact person, whose contact details you will find at the end of our privacy policy.

Shopify
Our webshop is developed using software from Shopify. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our service will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve its services.

Email and mailing lists; Klaviyo
Our website uses Klaviyo, a third party that handles email traffic originating from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via Klaviyo's servers. Klaviyo will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email automatically sent via our website, you will see an 'unsubscribe' link. If you click on it, you will no longer receive emails from our website. This can severely reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is securely stored by Klaviyo. Klaviyo uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. Klaviyo reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share information with third parties in that context.

Office365
For our regular business email traffic, we use Office365 services. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Office365 does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Shopify Pay (Stripe)
For processing some (or all) of the payments in our webshop, we use the Payment Service Provider Stripe. Stripe processes your name, address, place of residence details, and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Stripe has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Stripe reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share (anonymized) data with third parties in this context. In the case of an application for deferred payment (credit facility), Stripe shares personal data and order data with post-payment service providers. All the aforementioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Stripe's services for which it engages third parties. Stripe does not store your data longer than permitted by statutory terms.

Shipping & Logistics

When you place an order with us, we process your personal data to deliver your order. For storage, order processing, and shipping, we use an external fulfillment partner. Additionally, we use a shipping platform for creating and managing shipments.

For the delivery of your order, your name, address, and place of residence details are shared with the carrier that delivers your package. This may include PostNL, DHL, bpost, or DPD, depending on the chosen shipping method and the destination country.

These parties use your data solely for processing and delivering your order. If our fulfillment partner or carrier uses subcontractors, your data may also be shared with these parties, to the extent necessary.

We do not provide your data for any other purposes.

Invoicing and bookkeeping

Twinfield
For keeping our administration and bookkeeping, we use the services of Twinfield. We share your name, address, place of residence details, and details related to your order. This data is used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored securely. Twinfield is bound by confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Twinfield does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of processing
We use your data solely for the benefit of our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you later – other than at your request – we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality due to the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Webwinkelkeur
We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are obliged to provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name, email address, and product information with WebwinkelKeur. They only use this data for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing its services, for which we have given WebwinkelKeur permission. All the aforementioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of the services for which WebwinkelKeur engages third parties.

Automatically collected data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data. Cooperation in fiscal and criminal investigations In certain cases, CG-producten / Consumedix B.V. may be legally obliged to share your data in connection with a fiscal or criminal investigation by government authorities. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will resist this within the possibilities offered by law.

Retention periods
We retain your data for as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a request for erasure. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices with your (personal) data; we will therefore retain this data for as long as the applicable period runs. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile and documents we have produced based on your assignment.

Your rights
Based on current Dutch and European legislation, you, as the data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on our behalf. Below we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies of your data to the email address already known to us. In the event that you wish to receive the data at a different email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of handled requests; in the case of a request for erasure, we register anonymized data. All statements and copies of data will be provided to you in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

You always have the right to access the data we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to it. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data to the email address known to us, along with an overview of the processors who hold this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data.

You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to it, adjusted. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data has been adjusted.

Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the data we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to it. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to it, transferred to another party. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you to the email address known to us copies of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties. In such a case, it is highly likely that we will no longer be able to continue our services, as the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of CG-producten / Consumedix B.V. If you object, we will immediately cease data processing pending the resolution of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will provide you with statements and/or copies of the data we process (or have processed) and then permanently cease processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe this is the case, please contact our privacy contact person.

Cookies

Google Analytics
Through our website, cookies are placed by the American company Google, as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be obliged, based on applicable laws and regulations, to provide access to this data. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

Third-party cookies
If third-party software solutions use cookies, this is stated in this privacy statement.

Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy affects the way we process already collected data about you, we will inform you by email.
